The work performed by STATICUS UAB as well as the company’s competences were highly evaluated also at the Lithuanian Product of the Year 2010 competition. The experts awarded the gold medal to STATICUS for the design and installation of the façade and internal structures of the Swedbank office building.

Such decision was adopted upon evaluation of the optimal structural and technological approaches employed in the architecture of the building’s façade. The experts’ decision has also been influenced by the positive feedback received from the customer of the project. The construction sector is living through hard times, with the words of praise heard very rarely, and the experts noted that STATICUS is increasing the industry’s prestige with its projects. The facts that the company expands its exports, applies latest technologies and innovations, and contributes to the development of energy efficiency solutions in Lithuania were also mentioned by the experts. These were the main points noted and emphasised by the experts in awarding the gold medal to the company.

It should be noted that projects implemented by STATICUS have already received awards more than once: the building of the Karlskrona University (Sweden) was recognised as the greenest building in the country; the Green Hall built near the Pedagogical University of Vilnius, in particular its facades, earned the gold medal at the Lithuanian Product of the Year 2009 competition; the architectural approach applied in the Swedbank office building was included in the list of the 95 Best Projects of the World.
