STATICUS has signed a contract with one of the largest construction companies in Sweden PEAB Sverige AB (annual turnover of 38 billion. SEK) to implement facade structures for new multifuctional stadium Stockholm Arena. It will be the biggest abroad project of the company untill now. STATICUS was trusted to design, produce and install 31.000 sq. m. of facade structures.

Installation works will begin in July this year and will finish in 2012 spring. Stockholm Arena will be multifunctional semi covered (with sliding roof parts) 30.000 seats football stadium, which will meet all the standards of FIFA and UEFA, also suitable for other traditional and nontraditional sports, various events. Total estimated price of this project is 2.7 billion. SEK.

Stockhoml Arena will be a part of developed  Globe City complex, in this complex there is also located Globe Arena.
