Other information: The multifunctional complex of Šiauliai became the first building of such size in the world the entire façade of which was covered by holographic glass units. Such a façade makes the building unforgettable and outstanding – it glows in various colours which are constantly changing depending on the viewpoint, the angle of sunrays and illumination. The specialists of STATICUS UAB and Panevėžys glass factory created a Lithuanian product for glazing the arena. These glass units have been produced from three glass sheets among which a special film breaking sunrays has been glued. The arena is extraordinary by the fact that it has the form of a cylinder and it looks different at various times of the day as the sun is moving across the sky.
