Other information: The ambitious conception of architects of the memorial to January 13 was implemented precisely and impeccably by the specialists of STATICUS frameless constructions department. A special system for fixing glass was applied in Lithuania for the first time. Toughened glass boards were fixed to steel cables stretched between the roof and the floor by special holders. In order to prevent the fluctuation of the tension of cables due to outside temperature changes, a special spring mechanism upholding the tension has been integrated into the system. The construction is aesthetical as well as durable.
