The administration building of the company Lietuvos Energija was reconstructed by STATICUS by warming up the present facades with solid stone wool boards and coating them with fibrocement façade boards. Both sides of fibrocement boards are covered by a special impregnating coating, and the external side – by a colour decorative coating resistant to the impact of the atmosphere. A hall and a tambour has been furnished instead of the demounted part of the façade: the new glass construction of the facades was mounted on new foundations and columns. The space of the hall was glazed by frameless glass units fixed to the new foundation. In order to improve the heat, acoustic and aesthetical qualities of the façade, the third glass partition was constructed in front of the present windows.
