The main activity of the Company STATICUS, UAB is design, manufacturing and assembly of aluminium glass structures, frame-free glass structures and ventilated façades.
The Company STATICUS, UAB is a member of the Lithuanian Builders’ Association.The Company continuously follows the recent developments in the sphere of façades and seeks to offer new products to Lithuanian and foreign markets. Its production line is up to the highest requirements and is well-capable of processing aluminium as well as steel profiles. Special attention is attached to quality; the Company never offers questionable solutions and adheres to all quality and safety standards.
2008 has been a really important year for the Company from business perspective. It has been the first year of active business activity in the new company: it had to consolidate itself in the market and win customer confidence. The Company considers the highly-skilled personnel who are able to offer to-quality non-standard solutions to the market to be its greatest asset. The Company succeeded in attaining the target sales and profit figures for 2008. We achieved a turnover of LTL 78 million, including 20% abroad. The Company is the leader in this field in Lithuania. Our specialists have offered and implemented a number of innovative technical solutions, which not only enabled us to prevail in competitive struggle but also to earn a higher-than-standard profit margin. It is a shame that at this time all innovative projects have to be financed with own resources which are becoming increasingly scarce.
In the future the Company will seek to focus on foreign markets, especially Scandinavian countries and Western Europe. The scale of development, however, is hard to predict because it is hard to make any forecasts due the global economic and financial crisis.
As of 1st January, 2008 the company employed 15 specialists; in the course of 2008 the team of specialists and workers has been formed completely. In the end of the year the number of the Company’s employees was 350. The Company’s specialists have a lot of experience and are highly-skilled. Today the Company employs 14 highly-skilled constructors-designers, 1 doctor of sciences who has defended his thesis during the time of his employment with the Company, 20 experienced project managers who have proven their project management excellence in implementing a number of responsible and complex projects, such as observation deck of the Lithuanian Museum of Ethnocosmology, Vilniaus vartai commercial and residential complex, Swdbank office building, Green Hall A class office building, etc. Successful implementation of the projects is ensured by 170 highly-skilled workers with an average experience of 5 years in this sphere. All of the Company’s assembly workers are skilled steeplejacks. 26 employees of the Company are certified by the Ministry of Environment as construction managers of special structures, 11 employees are certified construction managers of special structures and technical supervisors of structures.
The quality and environment system applied at the Company STATICUS, UAB is ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004-certified. Presently the system adjustment is in progress to take into account the changes taking place within the Company. Based on the supervisory BVQI audit that is scheduled on 24th April, 2009, the Company shall seek to re-certify its quality management system under the ISO 9001:2008 standard. This is expected to give the Company an advantage in competitive struggle. The works of product certification in the markets of Russia and Belarus are presently in progress.
The Company’s business activity complies with the environmental legal requirements of the Republic of Lithuania that are under continuous scrutiny for any amendments and updates to be taken into account by the Company. Contracts with waste-management companies have been signed in the beginning of 2009.
The Company STATICUS, UAB has the Employee Safety and Health Service responsible for the organisation and implementation of measures to prevent accidents at work and the coordination of professional risk assessment in the Company.
